April 10, 2008: Zak has revived (and redesigned!) the Middle-eastern Scimitar! He has one of these blades for opening weekend at the Georgia Renaissance Festival. There will be a page for the blade over the weekend.

March 31, 2008: Zak will be at the Georgia Renaissance Festival for opening weekend. Why not stop in and say hello!

Also, we got official word today that we will be represented at the Tennessee Renaissance Festival!

March 10, 2008: It looks like we may be able to announce a few new shows in the near future. Keep your fingers crossed!

March 3, 2008: Just to reiterate; with the current economic situation, Zak has decided that Starfire is going to have to bite the bullet, and hold last year's prices, at least through this season.

January 17, 2008: Well, all the news is of the good kind! First off, after a long absence, we're happy to be able to say the the CUPCUT-29 and it's companion BD-17 are back in the line-up (at least 4 of each of them!) While the "Pirate Craze" may seem, to some, to have passed, good steel for the pirate in you never goes out of style!

We also want to let you know that Zak has decided that this is just not the time to do a price increase.

November 11, 2007: We hate to be the bearers of bad tidings, but in the very near future Starfire is going to have to raise our prices. We have held our prices down through a number of increases in the costs of materials and transportation, but we find that we can not hold out any longer; these costs are not going any lower in the forseeable future. We're letting you know in advance because we don't want our customers getting any unpleasant surprises, and so that you can plan your purchases accordingly. We will be holding the prices through the holiday season, but soon thereafter they will be going up.
